Training School
DRS prides itself for its dedicated in-house training school situated at the company’s head office in north-west of England. We have a team of qualified personnel to facilitate the development of our operational staff.
The company also has been successful in bringing these training skills to external organisations in facilitating their training needs and can offer these courses to other TOC/FOC:
- Driver/Shunter Rules
- Locomotive Traction Training on the following Class of Locomotives – Class 20s, 37s, 47s, 57s and 66s
- Rolling stock technician – Fitness to run
- Designated Person (DP) courses
All our trainers have nationally recognised certificates in Training and Assessment.
