Official Opening of Gresty Bridge Depot.

Direct Rail Services (DRS) celebrated its official opening of its depot at Gresty Bridge on the 23rd March 2007 with the blessing of The Hon Mrs Gwyneth Dunwoody MP, The Mayor and Mayoress of Crewe and Nantwich and Councillor David Brickhill.


The new depot is a reflection of DRS business expansion programme and the new facility will not only provide suitable office accommodation with meeting rooms but also maintenance facilities to allow the company to provide its own maintenance works. This will open up opportunities for DRS to have a better control of the quality, timetabling and scheduling for maintenance works as well as providing a valuable 3rd party maintenance capability for use by other train operating companies.
