DRS Win 'Rail Freight Project of the Year'

The first ever joint Women in Nuclear and Women in Rail event, sponsored by Balfour Beatty, Carne Whitney and Nuclear Institute, kicked off on 23 October to a great start with attendees mingling at the networking and wine tasting event held in West Cumbria.

DRS’s Flagship event took place on Saturday 22nd July 2017 at our Kingmoor Depot in Carlisle. The annual event raises money for charities and local causes and we are delighted to announce that a record breaking £29,000 was raised at this year's event! Thank you everyone!

The annual DRS Charity Open Day will take place at our Kingmoor depot in Carlisle on Saturday 22nd July 2017.

Direct Rail Services’ Class 88002 locomotive is the first to arrive from Stadler Rail, Valencia. Ten Class 88 locomotives have been ordered in partnership with Beacon Rail Leasing Limited.

Direct Rail Services have been awarded the Customer Care Award 2016 at the Rail Freight Group Awards for providing First Class Customer Care during the most challenging times.

DRS are proud to unveil the eagerly awaited Class 88 Locomotive in her new livery.
